SCSU CometWatchers

Optical Imaging CampaignsOur optical imaging programs are conducted at the SCSU campus observatory using Meade 10-inch and 16-inch f/10 telescopes with Apogee 7, SBIG ST-6, and ST-4 CCD cameras. We have also recently acquired a spectrometer on loan from Rutgers University for taking 5 - 10 Angstrom resolution optical spectra. Update 09/2001: We have just recieved the SBIG ST-8E and Spectrograph that we purchased last winter. This will lead to higher resolution spectrometer images.
