CometWatchers Travel to Observatories
Students get a better understanding of how to obtain and analyze
mm-wave spectra by participating in observing runs. Whenever possible,
Cometwatchers travel to the observatory to help take and reduce the data.
The total immersion in the observing environment really helps facilitate
learning. The students can quickly learn how to reduce and start the analysis
of the data, and thus make a significant contribution to the research project.
